I vincitori dell’83ª edizione dei Golden Globes in parte erano già previsti, la cerimonia 2026 regala poche sorprese, ma molte conferme. Timothée Chalamet supera Leonardo DiCaprio, come ampiamente previsto, e conquista il premio come miglior attore in un film musicale o commedia per Marty Supreme, mentre il titolo di miglior film drammatico va a Hamnet di Chloé Zhao, uno dei grandi protagonisti della serata.
Dal film arriva anche la vittoria annunciata di Jessie Buckley, premiata come miglior attrice protagonista. Sul fronte comedy/musical trionfa Una battaglia dopo l’altra di Paul Thomas Anderson, che porta a casa anche i riconoscimenti per miglior regia e miglior sceneggiatura, confermando il suo status di film più atteso della stagione dopo le nove nomination raccolte.
La cerimonia, ospitata come da tradizione al Beverly Hilton Hotel di Los Angeles, si è aperta proprio con Una battaglia dopo l’altra e con il primo premio della serata assegnato a Teyana Taylor, miglior attrice non protagonista. Spazio anche al cinema internazionale con la doppietta di L’agente segreto, vincitore come miglior film straniero e premiato anche per il suo protagonista Wagner Moura.
In ambito televisivo, dominio annunciato della miniserie Adolescence, che porta a casa un vero e proprio poker di premi, inclusa una tripletta per il cast. A guidare la serata, per il secondo anno consecutivo, è stata Nikki Glaser, stand-up comedian e conduttrice radiofonica, che ha accompagnato l’assegnazione dei premi tra ironia e ritmo serrato.
